MASANETO

How MASANETO works

A simple, transparent online auction: list an item, let verified buyers compete, close the deal at a fixed time.

For sellers

Publishing is free and takes a few minutes. You set the terms of the auction; the platform runs it.

Create an auction

Add a title, a description, photos or a video, a starting price and a reserve price. Choose the end time of the auction, from 2 to 30 days ahead.

The reserve price protects you

The reserve price is the lowest amount you agree to sell for, and it is mandatory. If the highest bid at close is below it, you are not obliged to sell.

Counteroffer when the reserve is not met

When the auction closes below the reserve, you may send a counteroffer to the highest bidder. If they accept, the deal is closed on the same terms as a normal sale.

For buyers

Every bid is for the whole auction, and every seller is a verified person or company.

Bid the total price

A bid is always the total price for everything the auction offers. The bid box shows your bid, the commission and the total before you confirm.

Verified counterparties

All users verify their identity with eID before they can bid or sell. Companies outside the Baltic states also pass a card check.

Pay the commission, get the contacts

When the reserve is met at close, you receive an invoice for the platform commission. Once it is paid, the contact details of both sides are revealed and you settle the item price directly with the seller.

Core rules

The same rules apply to every participant, so both sides can rely on the outcome of an auction.

Binding bids

Every bid is a binding commitment to buy at that price if you win. A winning bidder cannot withdraw from the deal.

Accurate descriptions

The seller is responsible for the accuracy of the auction description and for disclosing any defects. Deliberately misleading auctions lead to cancellation and blocking of the account.

Reserve met means sold

When the highest bid at close meets or exceeds the reserve price, the sale is confirmed automatically and the seller is obliged to complete it.

Fixed end time

An auction runs until the end time chosen by the seller, between 2 and 30 days after publication. Bids placed after that moment are not accepted.

The full obligations of both parties are set out in the Terms of use and the Auction rules.

Verified participants only

Identity verification with eID keeps the platform safe for both sides: you always know who you are dealing with, and contact details are shared only after a confirmed deal.
