Pricing
MASANETO offers the seller two auction types, with or without a reserve price, and two ways to settle, both chosen per auction. Publishing a no-reserve auction is free; an auction with a reserve price costs a listing fee of 2.00 EUR incl. VAT. With the settlement account the platform withholds its fee from the payout; with direct settlement the parties settle the item between themselves. The buyer's commission is the same either way. There is no subscription.
Sellers
Publishing. A no-reserve auction is published free. An auction with a reserve price costs a listing fee of 2.00 EUR incl. VAT, in both settlement modes, paid by card before the auction goes live. The fee is refunded if you delete the auction before the first bid or if MASANETO withdraws it because its price is above the market value; it is not refunded if the auction ends without a sale.
With the settlement account. An auction that ends without a sale costs no settlement account fee. When the item sells, the platform withholds the settlement account fee from your payout: 2% of the hammer price excluding VAT, minimum 2 EUR, maximum 150 EUR, plus VAT per your VAT status. The fee is frozen on each auction when it is published. If the buyer is refunded in full, no fee is charged. The money reaches you after the buyer has the item.
With direct settlement. No settlement account fee is charged: MASANETO does not touch the money for the item, and you and the buyer decide how it is paid.
Buyers
The buyer pays a 2.5 % commission on the final price, with a minimum of 12 EUR per purchase. The commission is paid together with the item price into the settlement account, in one payment.
Commission rates
The rates below are the ones in force right now. The bid box shows your bid, the VAT on the item where it applies, the commission and the total before you confirm.

If a MASANETO dealer organises your auction: 2.5 % of the sale price, only if the auction sells.
VAT
VAT of 21 % is added to the commission for buyers in Latvia. VIES-validated companies in other EU countries are invoiced under the reverse charge mechanism. VAT on the item itself depends on the seller's VAT status and is shown in the bid box and on the invoice issued in the seller's name.
Payment methods
The whole amount is paid into the settlement account within 1 business day of the sale confirmation. Up to 1 000 EUR you choose a bank transfer, offered first and free of extra cost, or a card; above 1 000 EUR only a bank transfer. The transfer is an ordinary SEPA transfer to a German IBAN that Stripe issues for the deal, beneficiary SIA "Hunter" as the operator of MASANETO; it extends the deadline by 5 days. The money is released to the seller after the buyer confirms the handover.
